Learning is thought to be a crucial element of our overall well-being. Add in connecting with others — being active — taking time to notice and giving to complete the package.

Make sure you check out the assessment options and whether or not there are industry qualifications to be had. Avado learning state that there are seven types of learning styles so picking the one that is right for you is important. They are:


  • visual — seeing

  • kinaesthetic — doing things physically

  • aural — listening

  • social — study or friendship groups

  • solitary — working at your best when alone

  • verbal — written or spoken — often rhymes and acronyms are used

  • logical — mathematical thinkers


Of course, you don’t need to enrol on a course in order to learn a new skill. There are so many options. A course does provide structure and support networks. Browsing YouTube — TikTok — Facebook —Pinterest or any other social media outlet will lead you to something fun to try.
