Happiness comes in many forms

Emotions are very unique — happiness is perhaps the most so. It can take on numerous meanings.

What makes one person happy will make another sad. One thing we can conclude is that as natural life promote happiness comes in cycles. A lifestyle brand based in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida who are determined to inspire people to ‘Give & Live Happy’.

Patti Hughes Founder & CEO said: ’We call our products “treasures” because they are things you stumble upon while out and about and just can’t resist… whether it’s a saying that speaks to you, a perfect little gift for a friend or family member…or something to wear or put in your home that makes everyday life more fun!’

Happiness can come in many forms and means something different and unique to everyone. For some, the second they open their eyes in the morning and realise they have another day is pure joy. For others that will hold no meaning or value — Money — fame — a career — a family — owning your own home may be more relevant.

But health that’s what should truly matter. Something felt strongly by those with long-term health conditions and disabilities. That saying about children — I just want a healthy baby I don’t mind if it is a boy or girl. When does that feeling translate into an everyday statement about life?

There will of course be times of sadness — despair — upset and stress. Periods of bad health are part of daily life. But at some point, the fog will lift and some light and colour will enter our lives that make us smile.

A butterfly floating in the summer breeze — the flavour left of our favourite food touching the pallet — the sweet smell of freshly growing herbs — the softness of the skin of a person dear to us — the feeling of pulling on your favourite jumper — the sound of our favourite song on the radio. Our senses are tantalised.

Simple pleasures — being connected with others — feeling understood — having a break—even trying a new and successful treatment.

You could say that happiness can be characterised by feelings of joy, satisfaction, contentment, and fulfilment. A productive day filled with small pleasures, engagement with others and feeling we have a purpose in what we do are helpful attributes to aspire to.

Whether you refer back to something purchased to support your happiness or rely on the basics of life and our senses we hope you find joy in every day. It’s often helpful to go to bed thinking about what you’ll do the next day to ensure you feel happy. To give you something to look forward to. A desire to carry on and make progress.
