Our favourite treats but without the calories



Fancy a muffin — a piece of chocolate cake perhaps? But what about that healthy lifestyle you are trying to lead?


Treats in moderation are fine— we all know that — but what if there’s a way to have your favourite treats without the additional calories — an opportunity to enjoy them every day.


Even better, there are some experts who are now showing us how to have our favourite foods in a slightly different way that can actually contribute to the intake of good nutritional ingredients.


Tom Brady— a now retired American National League Football player — is well known for his holistic approach to exercise and performance. Now he’s showing a different way to enjoy the flavours of our favourite foods without increasing sugar intake.


A great example is his simple recipe for a blueberry muffin smoothie. A simple blend of blueberries, almond milk, oats, vanilla extract, a pinch of salt, and a scoop of plant-based protein powder blended together to deliver that muffin taste in a nutritious, low-calorie drink.

Whilst we all want to enjoy our favourite treats from time to time there are creative ways to incorporate creative cooking into our everyday diets that ensure good nutrition without losing the flavours that we love.
