Tom Brady an American Football League legend has developed a five-pillar holistic approach to health and well-being. Supported by body coach Andy Guerrero the programme with: mental fitness, pliability, movement, hydration and nutrition.
Challenge number one is to run the 12-minute morning routine.
This includes drinking water — 1 minute for hydration
Meditation — 3 minutes for mental fitness
3 minutes rolling out —for pliability (allowing the muscles to move without restriction)
A smoothie for nutrition
Getting moving — 2 minutes with a double-leg flute bridge. Engaging our core muscles.
Doesn’t really sound so bad? Certainly some simple tips and tricks you can buy into.
For now, the smoothie is the missing piece of the morning puzzle. My regular porridge and scoop of reduced sugar/diabetic strawberry jam are just too good to pass up. But there’s some berry in there so not so bad I guess. Plus a drink of cranberry mid-morning should be sufficient. The movement is not yet up to 2 minutes and the rollout needs a vibrating sphere. The basic roller stays for now.

You can follow my progress as I embark on a journey into the programme further. Determined to see if this could really be the missing link within my health and well-being progression.
