We Are Undefeatables campaign supporting people with Long term health conditions to be more active

"We Are Undefeatable" is a movement supporting people with a range of long-term health conditions, developed by 15 leading health and social care charities and backed by expertise, insight and significant National Lottery funding from Sport England

It focuses on the importance that everybody with a long-term health condition is different and their condition affects them in a unique way. Therefore, finding the most appropriate physical activity is also very much based on personal circumstances.

Not every condition is covered by the Campaign and those looking for specialist expert advice are encouraged to contact the most relevant health charity for support and advice. The We Are Undefeatables Campaign still offers plenty of help, support and guidance on potential activities and ways to get involved.

The Get Started page offers some ideas on finding an activity that you can enjoy — starting slowly and progressing — making the most of your good days and moving more.

If you need some inspiration then the Our Stories page offers just that. Follow the journeys of others as they set out to get more active despite a range of health conditions including Diabetes, Parkinson’s, MS, Stroke and Dementia.

Move to your Mood is a targeted addition to the campaign. Its aim is to support people to be active on days when motivation is hard to find. Led by Gok Wan it features three five-minute videos:

  • Feeling relaxed

  • Needing a boost

  • Feeling energised

There are many ways to get involved with this campaign and it offers so much to a wide range of people. The Our Community page encourages everyone to share their stories on a range of social media outlets. There's also access to a chat box for support and encouragement.

By joining the Supporters Hub organisations can access social media assets, a range of posters, research and insights to help promote the campaign and advertise activities which they are running.

Sign up to receive regular emails and watch webinars to update you on new additions to the campaign. A great way to get moving when you have a long-term health condition.

A programme that truly recognises and supports the specific needs of those with additional needs to access sport and exercise in their own special way.
