For something so small this pituitary gland can cause a whole load of medical conditions that can not only be hard to detect but also had to manage and accept. The symptoms experienced by those with pituitary conditions will vary depending on the problem with the pituitary gland. Key symptoms to look out for include:

Periods stopping

Feeling cold, tired and gaining weight despite not eating more

Aching joints, increased size of hands, feet and facial changes

Headaches

Passing urine frequently and a thirst you cannot quench

Difficultly with peripheral vision

Excessive facial hair, a fatty hump at the top of the back, stretch marks and awful mood swings
