Right now times are unsettled on a scale we have never seen before. Despite the strains and struggles through the pandemic, there are so many people beavering away behind the scenes to help keep us safe and well in the fight against the COVID-19 nigtmare. This isn't just the Keyworker's in hospitals, schools and councils but charities producing important and relevant information to support us and in particular those with Long Term Health Conditions whilst we all wait to be called for vaccines and the incredible scientists hit home with speed the chance for us all to continue on with a life that may not be as we know it but alive, well and with both good mental and physical health.
Below are some links to some fantastic resources that you may find helpful from reliable sources to get you through your own personal journey. Remember that whatever you are feeling right now, whether that be sad, anxious, angry, frustrated, fearful or even happy that's ok. Life has to move on no matter how hard it is. We need to take pleasure in the small things and continue to make as many memories as we can BUT within the lockdown restrictions. If we don't then we will be letting down the people who have been lost, the scientists battling day and night and the front line staff battling so hard that we can be safe and well. On the flip side, there is every chance we could come down with CORONA ourselves. If the worst was to happen would we regret not what we didn't do but what we wanted to? Yes, the restrictions are hard for everyone in some way, but there will be some positives in your day. It's OK to feel guilty but admit that to someone and if you are struggling please reach out to someone. Don't end this alone, struggling and unable to manage daily tasks. Seek help. It is crucial that anyone keeps an eye on their Mental Health right now but especially those with LTHC's and Disabilities so we don't exasperate our other conditions. Mind are the Number One Charitable Organisation with all the support you and your family could need.
