Little Miss Inventor - Part 8 - The Ribbon Box and Trouser line Strategy!

If you've read the title you will be wondering what on earth I'm writing next! It sounds bonkers but its actually an excellent physio support. On many occasions over the last few months I have been struggling with getting the right position on certain exercises which meant that the exercises aren't being as effective as they should be and so holding me back from the next level. So this particular day (not sure which as they merge into one another) I happened to get the right position.
As I lay on my side I have my hand on my hip to make sure it stays there and notice the centre seam of my trousers lines up with the centre of a bow on the front of my sideboard! A random thing to notice and wonder if this is a genius vision find or a one off. So, I turn over and it works on the other side!
Now as long as the 'indicator' causes pain in my hips as I do the rest and continues to work! I have hit the 'jackpot' with this. The pleasing fact is that since I wrote this out it has worked virtually every time. This is such a small thing but it means so much to be able to use this as a tool to hopefully help me move forward just a tiny bit each day.
I am not suggesting that you do the same but look out for any changes that you may notice when doing physio. Anything is worth a try. Your physio may even be able to help you come up with something of a similar nature.
